Sometimes we show up at weddings and celebrate with people we just met that day, let me tell you right now, this wedding was not that. This was the third wedding we've celebrated with the Schleif family (an honor) and walking into Greta and Noah's celebration truly felt like a family affair.
Here's a glimpse into their special day...
Greta and Noah, you are two of the kindest people. It was truly wonderful being by your side on the fastest day of your lives and capturing it all for you to cherish forever. Thank you for trusting us, and more than anything, thank you for being you. We wish you a lifetime of love and travel.
Want to see more of their day? Check out their highlight video, too!

Calling Nick and McKenzie's wedding a "backyard wedding" feels so wrong because the property where they celebrated their forever was absolutely a dream, but the casual, maybe even intimate (in the biggest way) feelings of the term "backyard wedding" are exactly spot on. These two celebrated so big and yet made every single decision and guest on the list feel entirely intentional, plus anytime someone says, "we're having a little pre-reception at the ball fields," IT'S A YES FROM US. Without further ado, a tiny glimpse into Nick and McKenzie's celebration:

Happy August! It is senior season over here and I am living for it!
First up, showcasing Claire! Wanting to include her love of color (especially pink), some water, and all the summertime warmth we decided to capture her session at Munsinger Gardens in St. Cloud. After we embraced all the color and the glow off the water we took inspiration from a recent trip to Greece and found some fun doors downtown St. Cloud at St. Mary's Cathedral to end her session at! Two real couples, one timeless vision: classic romance meets modern whimsy. When dreaming about this shoot I envisioned natural elements mixing together with elegance. Pears for greenery, simple white florals organically arranged for interest, moss to stay grounded, draping for whimsy, brass for warmth, and pearls (because why not). Add in chartreuse green accents that pop in the prettiest way, the richness of light at Rolling Ridge Wedding and Event Center in St Joe, and a mix of textures that beg a closer look, and enter the world of a dream come to life in grounded elegance. Without further ado: THE VISION This whole styled shoot was just a wild dream that came to fruition (and beyond) and I’m so proud of myself and thankful for such great humans who saw the vision too and made it all possible. This May, six years later, I met them again, this time with their two beautiful daughters, for a sweet family session in Becker. Being there to capture this chapter on their anniversary felt like such a full-circle moment.
One of the greatest joys of this work is witnessing love as it grows, deepens, and becomes something even more beautiful with time (and tiny humans!) Nelson family, thank you for trusting me not just once, but again, and again, to document these milestones. Your family is beautiful, and it was a gift to freeze these moments that will only grow sweeter with time. |
