LET ME SET THE SCENE...
- I met Ben at a super fun wedding May of 2018
- the first time I met him, he was telling a joke that required pants to come down
- after he popped the question to Tracy, they asked me to shoot their 2019 Rolling Ridge wedding
- Tracy asked me if they could bring pizza, beer, and dogs to their engagement session
- and then we literally got in the car and chased the sunset to end the evening
Y'all are in for a treat with this peek...
GOLD. MAGIC. SO GOOD.
We basically live in a snow globe today so it only seems right to share a winter engagement session on the blog this morning! Let's take a peek into Alex + Megan's session shall we?!
A chilly winter wind is whipping outside but I'm reliving Cameron + Taylor's stunning summer celebration! Sunny oranges and corals, hints of warm yellow, greens, and rusty reds/pinks all joined together to create the most perfectly summer inspired wedding.
Ignore the winter weather for a second to indulge in this love and warmth...
WE HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS...
The house we shot for Wes Hanson Builders, Inc. last fall will be on the COVER of the Jan/Feb 2019 Lake and Home Magazine! AHH! You can find it in print SOON (or click though the slideshow below for a sneak peek)!
Like I think I say every year: I have NO IDEA where 2018 just went!
And what a year it was. 2018 was a split of the most fun moments, and some moments that were the furthest from fun but pushed me to be stronger, and all together a year I'll never forget. Let's look at 2018 by the numbers, shall we? We're even going to compare to 2017 because #holygrowth.
On top of all those numbers (which, WOW), we also have 17 AMAZING couples confirmed to celebrate with us in 2019, and even 2 for 2020 (which is such a blessing), and we flew to both California and New York for engagements!
In addition to all that creative magic, I was also finally able to add Andrew to the team FULL TIME in July!!
If 2019 starts how 2018 ended we're going to be in for a wild ride: and we are SO ready!! As always, none of this would be possible without each and every person who has hired us, encouraged us, followed this crazy journey, referred their favorite people, or even just given us a quick like on Instagram. This is for us, but this is also absolutely for you. Capturing your memories and sharing your celebrations is the best and we couldn't think of another way we'd rather spend our days. THANK YOU.
And now a fun little throwback to when we announced Andrew's last day at his old job!
Have we worked together? If we have I'd love it if you'd leave me a review!
